Lovely private suite in nestled in the Berkeley Hills, walking distance to hiking trails and other attractions in Tilden Park (the golf course, merry-go-round, Lake Anza, Steam Trains, Botanical Gardens), two blocks to the 65 and 67 bus stops to downtown/BART, ample parking, and a quick 15 minute bus ride to the University of California campus (5 minutes by car).

The guest room is fully furnished with two comfy twin beds, built in bookshelves/desk and Bay windows overlooking the garden. It has its own beautifully-renovated bathroom and entrance from the side of the house. It faces our landscaping of roses, azaleas and ferns, and with frequent visits by the hummingbird. The guest space is fully equipped with its own microwave, mini-fridge, hotplate/stove top, expresso/capuccino maker, hot water kettle, pots and pans, plates, cups and utensils, towels, linen, home entertainment system (TV, DVD, stereo), with free cable, wi-fi and access to our washer/ dryer (which we would share).

The room is a little small for two people once the trundle bed (second twin mattress) is pulled out (given the built-in desk and home entertainment system), but perfect for one! This is a very peaceful and verdant environment to relax, yet close to so many fun things to do.
