I have a furnished room with private bathroom available for March 29th - July 31st. It has all major furniture (bed, desk, dresser, couch, etc.) as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer in unit. All utilities are included in the rent (internet, cable tv, water, $25 electricity cap). The only added expense would be the application fee ($60). The apartment is ideally situated off of 12th Ave SE and Hwy 9 in Norman so easy access to I-35. It also has a 24 hr workout room, a basketball court, study room with computers and printers, suntanning beds and a pool that they keep open late into the fall. There is a free shuttle to OU during the week too. You can take a look at the complex if you search 'The Grove Norman' (it is geared toward students but you do not have to be a student to live here, even families live here). The apartment is pet friendly. Currently there are 2 doggies living here (Husky puppy and a Maltese). They are very friendly and very well-behaved. If, however, you do not get along with dogs, are allergic or any other reason, the lease can be switched to another apartment.
