I am looking for a roommate to occupy one of my two spare bedrooms. The other furnished bedroom will remain vacant for guests. I have a super friendly poodle mix dog Yogi that everyone loves. My house is on a nice quiet block of Riverside Ave, which is within walking distance to grocery shopping and the Merritt gym one way, and Federal Hill restaurants and bars the opposite direction. The house has three bedrooms and 1.5 baths (so we'd be sharing the full bathroom upstairs), a new kitchen with stainless appliances, a finished basement with a big screen HD TV and cable, a washer and dryer, storage space, and wireless internet. Your room is wired for cable and you get the parking pad out back almost all of the time. I don't drive much and therefore don't need the parking pad. If I am out, and know I'll be home late, I may ask you to park on the street if you can find a spot. The house is essentially furnished except for your room, so I'm not looking for someone with a lot of stuff. Like most people, I'm looking for a clean, considerate and cool housemate in graduate school or with a professional job. I work for the government in DC four days a week, and telecommute once a week. I'm active and like to go out on weekends, but prefer to keep it pretty mellow during the workweek. Sorry but no (additional) pets or smoking in the house. Rent duration is flexible, first month as a deposit, and there will be a credit check, and basic rental agreement. We'll split the cost of cable, internet and utilities, which total about $200.
