My husband and I have one room to rent in our remodeled & modern East Oakland home. The bathroom is shared with one other roommate. Room can be furnished for $100 monthly fee and is available unfurnished August 1st (furnished won't be ready until August 15th). We have 3 indoor dogs (one female mini-husky, and two small male shih tzu mixes)...and are open to 1 additional dog (max). The backyard is spacious for play and entertaining. It is fully fenced from our neighbor’s property. All dogs are kenneled or with owner during the night, so they won't bother you. Designer IKEA kitchen, with double gas ranges and double ovens. The washer and dryer are in my home office (used 2-3x’s/wk), and are Samsung high efficiency washer and dryer. We will provide all utilities and most luxuries (excluding food), including tap water, gas, electricity, Netflix and Hulu subscriptions, Comcast business high speed internet wired and wireless, bi-weekly professional house cleaning, home alarm access, and access to the following electronics in the living room (TV, PS3, DVD, and Surround Sound). We are a eco-friendly and chemical sensitive household. We do not use bleach, solvents or other aromatically strong & harmful cleaners or perfumes and ask that you refrain from such use in the home. Roomies are welcome to use our eco-friendly products if you like. Parking is available on the street, and if you have a bike, it can be stored in the garage. I'm an entrepreneur and my husband works in the tech industry-so we both have odd hours and are sporadically home, but we both work in and out of the home usually Monday-Saturday. Sunday we are usually at home. We are generally quiet people, and would welcome another quiet professional or student. The bedroom is 12' by 12' . Two personal references and background check required, $500 refundable pet fee-max 1 additional dog.
