Looking for a Female Roommate

8:49 AM
Hello everyone, I am currently looking for a female roommate to share a two bedroom apartment with in the Spring Garden/Fairmount Park area of Philadelphia. Rent is $760 a month (per person), which includes a washer/dryer on the top floor. Apartment is very spacious and sunny, with two decent-sized bedrooms (the open one is big enough to fit a queen-sized bed) and lots of storage space. The available bedroom is about 10 ft wide by 16 ft long. Except for the washer/dryer, utilities are not included. About me: I'm a 27 year-old female and just moved to Philadelphia from New York City. I work in publishing full-time. I'm a neat person (but not a neat freak), easy going, introverted yet still social. I love literature, old movies, and music. I'm looking to explore more of what the city has to offer, and hoping to meet new people. About the neighborhood: Spring Garden is more residential compared to Center City, and more quiet. There are lots of tree-lined streets and cute cafes and bars. The apartment is located one block away from the 33 bus to Center City. The neighborhood is also served by the 2, 7, 32, 43, 48 bus lines, and the Spring Garden subway station. There are lots of tourist attractions within walking distance: a ten-minute walk to the Philadelphia Museum of Modern Art ("Rocky Steps"), the Franklin Institute, Eastern State Penitentiary, and the Free Library of Philadelphia. What I'm looking for: A female roommate who has a full-time job/steady source of income. Your name would go on the lease with me. I'm hoping to find someone for a 1 year lease through Oct 31, 2016. No smokers, hardcore party-animals, or pets (landlord's rules) please. We don't need to be BFFs, but we should be able to get along and be civil. Hopefully, you're responsible, and understand splitting cleaning duties/chores. Message me for more info.
