I have a 5 bedroom home, with one room available to rent available August 1, off of Broad Street near the Franklin Park Conservatory (approximately 2 miles east of High Street). We are within about 7 minutes of OSU and just a few minutes from CCAD/CSCC/Capital University and on the bus line. The room is $460/mo,all utilities included (gas, water, electric, and current WOW! Cable setup. additional cost of $15/mo if you want your own cable box in your room) and access/use of the washer and dryer. The rooms come unfurnished. We have all appliances, including a washer and dryer, and stainless steel oven, dishwasher and french door refrigerator. The house is fully furnished at this point with the exception of the bedrooms, but there is plenty of storage room in the basement. The house is 2500 sq feet, we have street parking (although its never hard to find a spot) a front porch, and a fenced in back yard. Our lease options are flexible, but we typically have a 6 month minimum that becomes a month to month agreement after the original 6 months. I do require a deposit of $275 due with the first months rent due upon lease signing. We currently have two dogs in the home (a norwegian elkhound and a chihuahua/corgi mix). We are currently not looking to add additional dogs to the household but exceptions will be made for very well behaved pets. There is a nonrefundable $250 pet deposit and dog owners are required to poop scoop and vacuum the house weekly. No cats please. Current roomies are employed and seeking the same, someone who can pay their bills in full and on time. We are looking for tenants that clean up after themselves, and know when to pitch in as a group to keep the house cleaned up and taken care of. If you are unwilling to pitch in to keep the house clean, you are probably not a good fit for us.
